Biography

Andrea E. Zurkamer is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for the Company and Heartland Bank. Ms. Zurkamer joined the Company as our Director of Risk Management in June 2013 and was named Heartland Bank’s Chief Risk Officer in July 2017. Previously, Ms. Zurkamer worked as a bank auditor and consultant for CliftonLarsonAllen for 13 years. As our Chief Risk Officer, Ms. Zurkamer is responsible for overall risk management, including internal audit, loan review, compliance, community reinvestment, BSA,operational risk management, and fraud prevention. Ms. Zurkamer is also responsible for human resources. She is a graduate of Illinois State University with a BS in Financial Accounting, a CPA, and a certified enterprise risk professional (CERP).
