Chris J. Ryan
Chris J. Ryan is Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer for the Company and Heartland Bank. Prior to joining the Company in 2026, Mr. Ryan served as Senior Manager of Retail, Operations, and Loan Fulfillment at Salal Credit Union in Seattle, Washington. During his time with Salal, he led branch operations, retail strategy, and frontline execution. Prior to Salal, Mr. Ryan spent 19 years at U.S. Bank, including 10 years as Vice President and District Manager in the St. Louis market. In his final role at U.S. Bank, Chris served as Vice President, Digital Experience and Engagement Manager. As Chief Retail Officer, Mr. Ryan is responsible for oversight of retail branch operations, payments, digital banking, and marketing. Mr. Ryan received a BS in Sociology from University of Oregon.
